Area Veterans Depart for Washington DC on North Central Kansas Honor Flight Trip

On Thursday, June 15th, 39 area veterans departed from Concordia Junior/Senior High School on the North Central Kansas Honor Flight trip to Washington DC.
The North Central Kansas Honor Flight Program is in its seventh year. This year's trip will run June 15th through June 17th. Stops on this year's trip include the World War II Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, the Vietnam Veteran Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the Marine Corps War Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, the United States Navy Memorial and the Pentagon.
The Honor Flight Program was established in 2005 as a way to take America's veterans to Washington D.C. to visit those memorials dedicated to honor their service and sacrifices.
