Man Killed Early-Sunday Following Rollover Accident at Milford Lake in Clay County

A 29-year old Junction City man was killed early Sunday, July 16th when he drove off the west end of the causeway at Milford Lake in Clay County.

According to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, James Jenkins was driving his 2006 Chevy Impala eastbound on K-82 at mile marker 6 when he drove off the north edge of the roadway and rolled down the embankment. The accident occurred at 3:10 am Sunday.

Jenkins, who was not wearing a seat belt, was killed in the accident.
