By Toby Nosker

New Concordia City Manager Amy Lange, Concordia Mayor Sam Sacco and members of the Concordia City Commission will be participating in the city's first-ever Neighborhood Listening Tour in February and March. The tour, which includes six stops around the community, is intended for members of the public to engage city staff and elected officials in informal conversation about the quality of life in Concordia, and how to prepare Concordia for the next generation.
On the Monday, February 12th edition of KNCK's "Talk of the Town," Mayor Sacco discussed the tour.
Stops on the Neighborhood Listening Tour are:
Monday, February 26th at 7 pm - Voting Ward #3 - Valley Rental Center (North Room)
Monday, March 5th at 7 pm - Voting Ward #4 - Valley Rental Center (North Room)
Monday, March 12th at 7 pm - Voting Ward #1-2 - Nazareth Motherhouse Auditorium
Monday, March 19th at Noon - General Public - Concordia Senior Center (RSVP required for lunch, $5.25/person)
Monday, March 26th at 7 pm - Voting Ward #2-2 - Concordia Golf & Wellness
The city hopes to hear what people think is working well, and what they view as great reasons to live in Concordia. They also want to hear people's priorities for Concordia moving forward, including what is important to them and their family, and where they would like to see the city's tax dollars at work.
