PHOTO GALLERY: Cloud County Community College Hosts Annual High School Art Day

Cloud County Community College's annual high school Art Day was held Friday, April 13th in Arley Bryant Gymnasium on the Concordia campus. Participating schools included Chase, Solomon, Linn, Hanover and Barnes, Clay Center, Rock Hills, Concordia, Osborne, Clifton-Clyde, Centralia, Frankfort, Bennington, Tescott, Pike Valley, Ellis, Smith Center, and St Francis Parish/School.
Students from area high schools had various pieces of artwork on display in the gymnasium from 9:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Throughout the morning, students participated in breakout sessions that included a sidewalk chalk competition, digital photography, ceramics, graphic design, painting, and drawing. Workshop instructors were Todd Leif, Jordan Brown, Nick Jones, Sarah Chavey, and Linda Foster.
During the art show, categories that were judged included painting, drawing, printmaking, graphic design, digital and traditional photography, ceramics, mixed media, jewelry, sculpture, textiles, and the sidewalk chalk art.
