The St. John Clifton-Clyde youth group hit the streets of Clyde on Wednesday, April 18th to ask for food and hygiene items for the Manna House of Prayer Food Pantry in Concordia.

The Manna House of Prayer maintains a food pantry of canned and dried goods. They also provide financial assistance for utilities and medical needs, such as prescriptions, lice shampoo, hospital dressings, and doctor's bills. And they make vouchers available to the Catholic Thrift Store when people need clothing or household items, help people who are passing through with gas, house transients, and provide assistance with miscellaneous things like a broken water heater.

With the help of the communities and generosity of the people, the youth group gathered an entire pickup load that was delivered to the Manna House.

The food pantry always needs:
Tuna or any canned meat
Peanut Butter
Macaroni and Cheese
Spaghetti Sauce
Instant Oatmeal
Body soap
Any non-perishable food item
