20th Annual T-Bird Golf Classic Scheduled for June 23rd

Cloud County Community College Athletics is now accepting registration for its 20th annual Thunderbird Golf Classic, scheduled for June 23 at Concordia Golf and Wellness.

There will be some new wrinkles this year to the two-decade old athletic scholarship fundraiser. The tournament will still be a scramble format, with one shotgun start for all golfers scheduled for 11 a.m.

Registration will be open at 10 a.m. the day of the tournament. Lunch will be made available to players between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The event concludes with the annual raffle and silent auction at 5 p.m. inside the clubhouse.

In addition to great raffle prizes, participants will have the opportunities to play and win prizes during a handful of on-course contests.

Team registration costs $280 and includes green fees for four players, golf carts, two free drink tickets, and lunch.

Interested parties may also take advantage of a new, three-layer sponsorship format this year.

A "Gold" sponsorship would cost $500 and would include the golf team registration, option for additional mulligans, additional drink tickets, recognition on golf tournament promotions, four tickets to the Rack'Em and Back'Em BBQ Bash on August 11, and a hole sponsorship.

Other sponsorship options include the "Silver" package for $250, which includes recognition in tournament promotions, two tickets to the BBQ Bash and a hole sponsorship, and the "Bronze" package $100 to go toward a hole sponsorship.
