Concordia High School Senior Ian Nordell Commits to Play Football at Kansas State

Concordia High School Senior Ian Nordell has committed to play football for Kansas State University.

Nordell, a 6'4" 235 lbs. starting tight end and linebacker for Concordia, will officially sign Wednesday, February 1st at 3:30 pm at the Concordia High School cafeteria.

Nordell was notified of Kansas State's offer this past weekend while on an official NCAA visit with the University of South Dakota. Nordell originally verbally committed to the University of South Dakota on a full scholarship after he received several NCAA Division I and Division II interest and official offers.

Ian is a four-year letterwinner for the Panthers. He was honored as a First Team ALL-NCKL Defense selection in 2015 and 2016, and was picked as a First Team ALL-NCKL Offense player in 2015.

Nordell concludes his career at Concordia High School second all-time in career tackles for loss, while in 2015 he set the single season record for tackles for loss. He also ranks 12th all-time for tackles in a single season.
