Concordia High School Freshman Abby Donovan Qualifies for 4A State Girls Golf Tournament

Concordia High School Freshman Abby Donovan has qualified to compete next week at the 2017 KSHSAA Class 4A State Girls Golf Tournament in Topeka following a 7th place finish Monday, October 9th at the team's 4A Regional Tournament in Clay Center.

This year marks the 14th consecutive year that the Concordia High School Girls Golf team has qualified at least one individual for state competition.

Playing in cool, blustery conditions Monday, Donovan posted back-to-back rounds of 47 to record a 94 and medal in 7th place at the regional meet.

Abby will represent Concordia at the Class 4A State Girls Golf Tournament Monday, October 16th at the Lake Shawnee Golf Course in Topeka.

Other Concordia results Monday saw Katie Donovan shoot a 106, Michaela Wetter had a 124, Lauren Trecek recorded a 130, Maddie Blochlinger finished with a 133 and Sreya Kemling scored a 182.
