Concordia's Kassidy Leiszler Finishes 1st at Girls Wrestling State Championships

Concordia High School Sophomore Kassidy Leiszler brought home a first place finish Saturday, February 10th from the 2nd Annual Kansas High School Girls Wrestling State Championships in McPherson. This year's tournament, sponsored by the McPherson Convention & Visitors Bureau, featured girl wrestlers from 47 schools around the state.

Round 1 - Kassidy Leiszler (Concordia) 8-0 won by fall over Annah Turner-Simon (McPherson) 8-10 (Fall 2:50)
Round 2 - Kassidy Leiszler (Concordia) 8-0 won by decision over Skyleigh Pflaster (Abilene) 8-7 (Dec 3-0)
Round 3 - Kassidy Leiszler (Concordia) 8-0 won by fall over Jamie Winebrenner (Meriden-Jefferson West) 1-8 (Fall 0:41)
Round 4 - Kassidy Leiszler (Concordia) 8-0 won by fall over Jenna Graham (Fort Scott) 12-3 (Fall 3:19)
Round 6 - Kassidy Leiszler (Concordia) 8-0 won by fall over Trinaty Eastman (Burlingame) 4-4 (Fall 0:42)
