Concordia Softball Drops a Pair of Games to Republic County

The Concordia High School Softball team dropped a pair of games Thursday, April 12th at home to the Republic County Buffaloes. The Lady Panthers concluded the two games with a combined 10 errors.

Republic County posted a big 10-run third inning in game one on their way to a 15-3 win in five innings. Senior Laken Schroeder suffered the loss, throwing three innings, allowing 9 hits and recording two strikeouts. Sophomore Hailey Budke pitched the final two innings.

Budke went the distance in game two, giving up 17 hits as the Lady Buffaloes handed Concordia a 15-4 loss in six innings. Concordia finished with 7 hits as a team, but was held scoreless in three of the six innings.

Concordia is now 1-7 on the season.
