Concordia Panther Baseball Team to See Clay Center in 4A - Division II Regional Tournament; Panther Softball Team to Also Face the Tigers

The Concordia High School Baseball team will face the Clay Center Tigers in the opening round of their 2018 Kansas State High School Activities Association Class 4A - Division II Regional Baseball Tournament.

The Panthers (14-4) will square off with the Tigers (11-9) at 3:30 pm Monday, May 14th from Kelly Campbell Field in Clay Center. Live coverage of the game can be heard on 1390 KNCK, 98.3 FM and NCKToday.com.

Concordia ended their 2018 regular season Monday, May 7th by sweeping the Clay Center Tigers in an NCKL home doubleheader. The Panthers rallied from behind to win game one, 2-1, and then picked up a win in game two, 13-3 in five innings.

The Panthers won the 2018 NCKL Championship. After starting 2-3 in league play, Concordia won five games in a row to finish 7-3 overall. Following Chapman's sweep of Wamego this week, Concordia has claimed their 7th NCKL title in the last 10 years.

The Concordia High School Softball team (3-17) will face the Clay Center Lady Tigers (20-0) Tuesday, May 15th in the 4A - Division II Regional Softball Tournament in Chapman. First pitch is set for 3 pm from the Beemer Sports Complex.

The Concordia High School Softball team concluded their 2018 regular season Monday, May 7th with two home losses to the Clay Center Tigers. Concordia dropped the first game of the doubleheader, 11-0, before falling in game two, 9-1.
