Concordia Girls Track & Field Team Finishes 3rd, Panther Boys Place 6th at 2018 NCKL Meet

The Concordia High School Girls Track and Field team recorded a third place finish Friday, May 11th at the 2018 North Central Kansas League Meet in Clay Center.

Senior Cydney Bergmann recorded a 1st place finish in the Girls 100M Dash in a time of 12.46. Bergmann also notched a 1st place finish in the Girls 300M Hurdles in a time of 47.57, while she posted a 2nd place finish in the Girls 100M Hurdles in a time of 17.42.

Junior Emma Wahlmeier captured a 1st place finish in the Girls 400M Dash in a time of 1:01.51.

The Concordia Girls 4x100M Relay team consisting of Bergmann, Wahlmeier, Senior Jessica Williams and Freshman Sierra Gropp finished in 1st place in a time of 50.57.

Williams recorded a 2nd place finish in the Girls Pole Vault with a vault of 11'7". Williams also finished in 2nd place in the Girls High Jump with a jump of 5'1", and she finished third individually in the Girls Long Jump with a leap of 16'0.5".

Junior Lauren Wheeler captured a 2nd place finish in the Girls Discuss Throw with a toss of 83'5.5". Junior Katlynn Miller finished 3rd in the Girls Discuss Throw with a throw of 82'8".

Miller also posted a 3rd place finish in the Girls Triple Jump with a jump of 32'7.75". And Miller finished 6th in the Girls Long Jump with a leap of 15'8.25".

Sophomore Terra Loeffler finished in 3rd place in the Girls 100M Hurdles in a time of 18.36.

The Concordia Girls 4x400M Relay team of Wahlmeier, Freshman Zoe Bechard, Freshman Terin Rundus and Senior Peyton Reynolds finished 4th overall in a time of 4:24.55.

Rundus also posted a 4th place finish in the Girls Javelin Throw with a toss of 101'9.5".

The Concordia Girls 4x800M Relay team of Rundus and Reynolds, as well as Senior Britney Gilkeson and Freshman Emma Losh, finished 5th in a time of 11:29.07.

Gropp finished in 5th place in the Girls 200M Dash in a time of 27.61.

Sophomore Karlee Wahlmeier placed 6th individually in the Girls Shot Put with a throw of 30'9.25".


The Concordia High School Boys Track and Field team recorded a 6th place team finish at the NCKL Meet Friday.

Junior Corben Monzon turned in a 2nd place finish in the Boys Triple Jump with a leap of 40'3".

Junior Alex Bonebrake captured a 2nd place finish in the Boys Shot Put with a toss of 41'9". Panther Junior Oakley Champlin finished 4th individually in the Boys Shot Put with a toss of 40'10".

Champlin also notched a 3rd place finish with the Boys Discuss Throw with a throw of 127'2".

And the Concordia Boys 4x100M Relay team of Senior Matt Davenport, Monzon, Sophomore Jordan Anguish and Senior Rope Dorman finished in 4th place in a time of 48.04.
