Former Kansas State All-American Ty Zimmerman to Speak at the Next North Central Kansas Teens for Christ Rally
Former Kansas State All-American Ty Zimmerman will be the featured speaker at the North Central Kansas Teens For Christ Rally on Saturday, April 20th at 7 pm at the historic Brown Grand Theatre in downtown Concordia.
Ty Zimmerman grew up in Junction City, Kansas, where he competed in four sports and received a scholarship to play football for Kansas State University. After college and a short stint with the New Orleans Saints, Ty and his wife moved back to Junction City where he began teaching and coaching at Junction City High School.
As he's grown in his relationship with Jesus, he's felt a stronger pull towards full-time ministry. As a result, God opened a door to serve at FCA in Manhattan and Junction City; two communities that he and his wife grew up in and are excited to give back to.
Special music guests at this month's Teens for Christ Rally, United North Band, will be leading worship for the night.
Teens for Christ programs are always free to the public. Doors will open at 6:30 pm and they will take up a free will offering to help cover the cost for the evening.
