Recent Traffic Stops on US Highway 81 in Cloud County Lead to Multiple Drug-Related Arrests

Two traffic stops on US Highway 81 in Cloud County this month led to the arrest of multiple individuals on drug-related charges.

According to a news release from the Cloud County Sheriff's Office, deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 100 section of US Highway 81 at 3 pm on August 2nd.  During the traffic stop, an investigation led to deputies arresting Zachary Loder of Omaha, Nebraska and Mark Merboth of Lincoln, Nebraska, charging both with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Merboth and Loder were transported to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center.  

On August 3rd at 8 pm, a Cloud County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped a vehicle in the 800 section of US Highway 81 for a traffic violation.  During the traffic stop, an investigation led to deputies arresting Jeremy Neal and Christine Day, both from Wichita.  Neal and Day were charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Neal and Day were transported to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center.
