A former Concordia man James "Jim" Hamel, 64, died Sunday, September 24th. Mass of Christian Burial, Fri., Oct 6 at 10:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5501 Monticello Rd, Shawnee, KS with Father Pat Sullivan officiating. Interment will be at 1:30 pm on that day at Leavenworth National Cemetery, 150 Muncie Rd, Leavenworth, KS with military honors. Visitation Thurs., Oct. 5, 5-7 pm and Vigil Service at 7 pm all at the church.
