KNCK to Rebroadcast Thrilling Concordia High School Games from 2019-2020 School Year

With the sports world coming to a halt, White Communications and KNCK still wants to bring sports programming to our loyal listeners. 

Beginning on Friday, April 17th at 8 pm, KNCK will launch #FlashbackFriday where we will be re-airing several Concordia High School sports broadcasts from our family of stations from the 2019-2020 year.  Our sports staff has selected some of the best games of the year and will be bringing you those broadcasts in their entirety each Friday night at 8 pm on 1390 KNCK and 98.3 FM.

Friday, April 17th - Concordia Football vs. Beloit from 10/18/19

After falling behind by 16 points at the end of the first quarter, the Concordia High School Football team responded for 34 unanswered points on their way to a 34-24 home win on Senior Night over the Beloit Trojans in Class 3A District 8 play.  The win allowed the Panthers to jump ahead of Beloit and Scott City for second place in the district standings.

Friday, April 24th - Concordia Football vs. Hugoton from 11/01/19
The Concordia High School Football team rushed for six touchdowns in a 43-18 road win over the Hugoton Eagles in their opening round game of the 2019 Kansas State High School Activities Association Class 3A State Football Playoffs.  The victory marked Concordia's first playoff win since 2014.

Friday, May 1st - Concordia Boys Basketball vs. Marysville from 12/17/19
The Concordia High School Boys Basketball team picked up its first win of the 2019-2020 season by upsetting the undefeated Marysville Bulldogs, 44-43, in their North Central Kansas League opener. The victory marked the Panthers' first home win over Marysville since 2015.

Friday, May 8th - Concordia Girls Basketball vs. Marysville from 12/17/19
The Concordia High School Girls Basketball team captured its first win of the 2019-2020 season with a 45-43 home win over the Marysville Bulldogs to open North Central Kansas League play.  Senior Post Karlee Wahlmeier recorded an offensive rebound and drew a foul, hitting both free-throws with 18-seconds remaining to lift the Panthers to victory.

Friday, May 22nd - Concordia Boys Basketball vs. Wamego from 2/20/20
The Concordia High School Boys Basketball team rallied from a four point halftime deficit to outscore Wamego 42-28 over the final sixteen minutes of play to capture a 71-61 North Central Kansas League win.  Exacting revenge from a 45-point road league loss to Wamego just two weeks prior, Concordia produced their best offensive output of the year, eclipsing the 70-point scoring mark for the first time in over a year.
