Senior Jacob Rosenbaum, Sophomore Cav Carlgren Honored with Postseason Awards
Two members of the Concordia High School Boys Basketball team have been honored with postseason awards.
Concordia finished its 2019-2020 season at 4-17 overall.
This year, Senior Wing Jacob Rosenbaum was named the team's Outstanding Senior. Rosenbaum averaged 4.7 points and 2.9 rebounds per game.
Sophomore Guard Cav Carlgren picked up the Garrett Farha Assist Award and the Free-Throw Award. Cav averaged 2.3 assists per game and shot 73.0% from the stripe. He also averaged 7 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game.
Also this season, Concordia High School Junior Wing Chas Carlgren garnered North Central Kansas League First Team honors, while Panther Junior Guard Wyatt Trost was named All-NCKL Honorable Mention.
Chas led Concordia in scoring this season at 8.7 points per game. Carlgren also averaged 5.4 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game and was first on the team in three-point field goals made at 20 on the year.
Trost played in 15 of the team's 21 games this season after being sidelined midway through the year with a foot fracture. Wyatt averaged 7.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.7 steals per outing. Trost also shot 37.1% from the floor.
