Concordia - Broadway Plaza Summer Movie Series, "Tangled"

The Broadway Plaza in Concordia's annual Free Summer Movie and Concert Series will return for a fifth season in 2021.  The annual series is sponsored by the City of Concordia and the Community Foundation for Cloud County.

This year, the annual Summer Movie and Concert Series will be held on a new night.  The showings and performances now will be held on Friday nights, beginning next month.

On Friday, June 11th, the Broadway Plaza will screen the 2010 Walt Disney animated movie "Tangled," which is loosely based on the fairy tale "Rapunzel."  The film tells the story of a lost, young princess with magical long blonde hair who yearns to leave her secluded tower.  Against her mother's wishes, she accepts the aid of an intruder to take her out into the world which she has never seen.  The film was nominated for a number of awards, including Best Original Song at the 83rd Academy Awards.

The evening's concessions will be run by the Zion Lutheran Church.

All movies are free and open to all ages.  Showtimes begin at 7 pm each night.
