43rd Annual Cloud County Community College Foundation Scholarship Auction Set for April 20th

The Cloud County Community College Foundation will raise money to support the college's general scholarship fund at the 43rd Annual Scholarship Auction on Saturday, April 20th at Arley Bryant Gymnasium on the college's Concordia campus.

In the last 42 years, the annual event has raised more than $1 million toward student scholarships.  100 percent of all auction proceeds go directly to the general scholarship fund, thereby making Cloud County an option for many students who otherwise would not be able to attend college.

Heather Gennette, Executive Director, says the Cloud County Community College Foundation helps make the academic dreams of students possible by providing scholarships and resources that promote success.

Gennette told KNCK News the auction only happens with the help of a great team of volunteers and amazing staff.  She said the dedication and time these individuals put toward the event is simply incredible.

This year's event is themed "Camp Cloud - Find Your Adventure, and Fund Theirs!"

Last April, the 42nd Annual Cloud County Community College Foundation Scholarship auction raised more than $105,000.
