Beloit Man Injured After Semi Overturns on I-70 Due to High Winds

A Beloit man was treated for injuries following a one-vehicle accident in Saline County on Thursday, April 7th.

According to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2017 Freightliner pulling a 2015 Utility Trailer and being driven by Curtis Musgrove, 62 of Beloit, was traveling eastbound in the right hand lane of Interstate-70 around two miles east of Ohio Street in Saline County.  A strong gust of wind pushed Musgrove's tractor toward the south.  The semi overturned onto its passenger side.

The accident occurred at 12:40 pm Thursday.

Musgrove, who was wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident, was taken to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment of injuries sustained.
