City of Concordia Hiring Seasonal Employees to Support Programs This Summer

The City of Concordia is accepting applications for summer employment for the streets, parks, swimming pool, summer playground and the Concordia Sports Complex.

Applications are being accepted for the following positions:

• Streets, Parks, Cemetery, Sports Complex, 18 and older
• Tennis Coach, 16 and older
• Tennis Assistant, 14 and older
• Head Lifeguards, 16 and older
• Lifeguards, 15 and older
• Playground Leaders, 14 and older
• Umpires, 15 and older
• Concessions for Pool & Sports Complex, 14 and older

Lifeguards require CPR, First Aid and Lifeguard Certification, if hired.  The city will provide the training.

Concordia Mayor Chuck Lambertz says temporary and seasonal application forms will ideally be completed and received at City Hall no later than 4:30 pm on Monday, April 15th.
