The Cloud County Community College Foundation will raise money to support the college's general scholarship fund at the 41st Annual Scholarship Auction on Saturday, March 26th at Arley Bryant Gymnasium on the college's Concordia campus.

Tickets to the event are sold out.  100% of all auction proceeds will go directly to the general scholarship fund, thereby making Cloud County an option for many students who otherwise would not be able to attend college.

In the last 40 years, the annual event has raised more than $1 million toward student scholarships.

Cloud County Community College President Amber Knoettgen says they are excited to welcome a sold out crowd to the auction and she's expecting it to be a great night.

This year's event is themed "Jockeys & Juleps" -- a Kentucky Derby party.  There will be many outstanding trips, unique experiences, home décor, and much more up for auction.

Mobile bidding options will be available to those that can't attend the event in person.  You can join in the fun by using Text2Bid.  Via a mobile device, text CLOUD to 71760 and you will receive a text with a link to register for the auction.

Individuals can begin previewing items starting at noon on Friday, March 25th and may select the silent auction items they want to watch.  Bidding will begin at 5 pm on Saturday.

If you see a live auction item you want to bid on, you can place a proxy bid by emailing foundation@cloud.edu.

The Cloud County Community College Foundation's mission is to develop, improve, advance, and support endeavors of Cloud County Community College.  President Knoettgen says they appreciate the foundation's contributions to the college's educational programs and student scholarships.
