Cloud County Sales Tax Collections Outpacing Last Year, Up 3.1% in March

Cloud County continues to report promising sales tax numbers for the start of 2022.

The month of March showcased a 3.1 percent increase over 2021.  The month brought in $72,191.06, a record for March, according to information provided by the Cloud County Treasurer's Office.

Sales tax collections are outpacing last year's total through the first three months of 2022.  The January, February and March collections in Cloud County totaled $236,410.99, up 15.7 percent, or $32,153.16 from the same period in 2021.

In Cloud County in 2021, there was a 7.2 percent total increase over 2020.  Year-end sales tax collections in 2021 totaled $872,687.00.
