Cloud County Sees Sales Tax Receipts Drop from August to September

Sales tax collections dropped 15.4 percent in September compared to August, according to a report from the Cloud County Treasurer's Office.

Sales tax revenue also fell 25.3 percent from September 2022, marking the first sharp year-over-year drop of 2023.

Total sales tax collections from January to September are still up year-over-year in Cloud County.  For the year, Cloud County has received $797,428.08, up 4.1 percent, or $32,322.06 when compared to the first nine months of 2022.
