Colby Garrison Named Valedictorian of Clifton-Clyde High School Graduating Class, Gabe Walter Named Salutatorian

Colby Garrison has been named Valedictorian for the Clifton-Clyde High School graduating class of 2023, while Gabe Walter has been named Salutatorian of the class. 

Colby is the son of David and Stephanie Garrison of Clyde.  Colby plans to attend Hutchinson Community College and study Physical Therapy assistant.  While at CCHS, Colby was a member of National Honor Society, Student Council, Future Farmers of America, and Future Career and Community Leaders of America.  Additionally, he was on the Scholar’s Bowl team, football team, track and field team, and was a member of the powerlifting team; which included a personal overall state championship this year.

Gabe is the son of Curtis and Audra Walter of Clyde.  Gabe plans to attend Kansas State University and major in biomedical engineering for a career in myoelectric prosthetics design.  While at CCHS, Gabe was a member of Future Business Leaders of America, Future Farmers of America, National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian athletes, the football team, Future Career and Community Leaders of America, the Scholar’s Bowl team, cross country team, and was a member of the track and field team.

The Clifton-Clyde High School Class of 2023 Commencement Exercises are scheduled for Sunday, May 14th at 2 pm in Clifton-Clyde High School’s Bill Bechard Gymnasium.
