Concordia Elementary School Students Cheer on Graduating Seniors

Concordia High School graduating seniors walked the halls of Concordia Elementary School on Friday, May 12th, part of a new annual tradition.

The senior walk has quickly become a favorite for the seniors, their parents, and the students at CES.

Elementary School Principal Derek Holmes said it's special each year when they have the seniors walk the halls in caps and gowns to the cheers of younger students, teachers, staff and their families.

This year's graduates got an enthusiastic reaction.  Many elementary school students made pictures congratulating them on their accomplishments.

Principal Holmes said everyone’s long-term goal should be to graduate high school, and this year's graduates have made a big impact on the younger students in Concordia.

The Concordia High School Class of 2023 Commencement Exercises are scheduled for Sunday, May 14th at 2:30 pm in the Concordia Junior/Senior High School Gymnasium.
