Members of the Concordia First United Methodist Church Assembled Layette Sets to be Distributed to Parents of Newborns

Members of Concordia First United Methodist Church recently completed their annual Layette Set project.

Handmade blankets were made by ladies of the congregation and used to wrap items for newborns, including onesies, socks, baby wipes, baby wash, diapers, and a book.  The layette sets are distributed to the parents of newborns at Community Baby Showers and by the Cloud County Health Department.

A grant was received from the Community Foundation for Cloud County to help with costs and meet the goal of assembling 75 sets this year.
