Concordia High School Grad Kylee Hower Elected Student Body President at Wichita State

Concordia High School graduate Kylee Hower will be the next student body president at Wichita State University.

Hower, the Student Government Association's current speaker of the Student Senate, and her running mate Matthew Phan won over half of the student vote, with 59.5 percent of the votes, according to the uncertified election results on Wednesday, April 3rd.

Hower, a 2022 graduate of Concordia High School, is a political science major at Wichita State.

The Sunflower reports Hower and Phan campaigned with four goals: engagement, outreach, retention and sustainability.
