North Central Kansas residents will have a chance to see a new group of local thespians perform on stage at the Brown Grand Theatre in downtown Concordia this weekend.

The new Concordia Middle School Art & Theatre Club will present, "The Con'Sequences of Ordinary," on Saturday, May 6th at 2 pm.

The club was formed by middle school students Katarina Howell, Kyndel Moeskau, Tia Strait and Kylie Urban.  Tia told KNCK News she had an interest in creating an art group after school.  After learning that Katarina was interested in starting her own middle school theatre troupe, Tia says they decided to combine the two ideas together.

The play is directed by Kylie Urban, a sixth grade student at Concordia Middle School.  She told KNCK News she's most excited to see the audience's reaction to the show.
