Concordia Ministerial Association to Pack 5,000 Meals to Help Local Food Banks

This weekend, the members of the Concordia Ministerial Association will join together to pack 5,000 meals in three hours.

Pastor Rick Barrett with Victory Faith in Concordia says the project was introduced to the Concordia Ministerial Association by Jim Winter, Pastor of Concordia Lutheran Church, to help local food banks in the community.

Barrett says approximately 30 volunteers will be packaging 5,000 meals that can serve a family of six.

These meals will then be distributed to local food banks in North Central Kansas.

The food packaging event will take place at 9 am on Saturday, February 3rd at Concordia Lutheran Church, located at 325 East 8th Street.
