Concordia Police Department Report for Monday, June 20th

On 06/17/2022 at 8:39 AM Officers responded to a report of an accident in the 400 block of West 5th Street. A vehicle driven by Ronald Copple of Concordia struck a sign owned by the City of Concordia at that location causing under $1000 in damage.

On 06/17/2022 at 12:19 PM Officers responded to a report of a theft in the 200 block of East 8th street. Glenda Schreiber of Concordia reported the theft of property from that area with a value of loss under $1000. This incident is under investigation.

On 06/17/2022 at 3:47 PM Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Lincoln street. Further investigation led to Travis Main of Concordia being charged with Driving While Suspended. Main was cited and released from the scene.

On 06/17/2022 at 4:13 PM Officers responded to a report of a theft in the 300 block of West 8th street. Christopher Atkins of Concordia reported the theft of items from that area with a value of under $1000. The items were later recovered by officers and returned to the owner. This incident is under investigation.

On 06/18/2022 at 4:45 PM Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of East 18th street. Further investigation led to John Reno of Concordia being charged with Driving While Suspended. Reno was cited and released from the scene.

On 06/18/2022 at 6:49 PM Officers responded to an accident in the 300 block of East 5th street. Eva Budreau of Concordia struck a vehicle belonging to Delia Hefner of Concordia at that location causing under $1000 in damage.

On 06/18/2022 at 9:48 PM Officers responded to a report of a theft in the 600 block of Broadway street. Mavericks Steak House of Concordia reported the theft of property from that location valuing under $1000 in loss. This incident is under investigation.
