Concordia Police & Fire Department Respond to House Fire
On January 30, 2026, at approximately 3:35 p.m., the Concordia Police Department, along with the Concordia Fire Department, was dispatched to the 300 block of East 12th Street in response to a report of a residential structure fire.
Police officers were the first to arrive on scene and observed a single-story residence with smoke visible. The Concordia Fire Department arrived shortly thereafter and quickly worked to extinguish the fire.
Fortunately, no individuals were injured, and all animals were safely out of the residence. However, the fire resulted in significant damage to the home and the occupants’ personal belongings.
At this time, the cause of the fire is under investigation.
