CPD Report for Jan. 27 - Feb. 1
Tuesday, January 27
At 12:09 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Valley St. for a report of a juvenile runaway from a different jurisdiction. The juvenile was located and custody was released to their parents. CPD is currently working in conjunction with Haysville Police Department on this case.
Wednesday, January 28
At 9:23 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of East College Dr. for a non-injury accident.
At 11:19 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Campus Dr. for a non-injury accident.
At 2:07 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of East College Dr. for a report of criminal use of a financial card.
Thursday, January 29
At 8:47 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of East 6th St. for a report of criminal threat.
At 10:10 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of West 21st St. for a report of criminal trespass. The individual was escorted off of the property.
At 6:00 PM, Officers spoke with a couple of individuals at the Police Department regarding a missing juvenile. Upon investigation, the juvenile was located and is safe.
Friday, January 30
At 7:13 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of West 10th St. for a report of a non-injury accident.
At 3:35 PM, Officers along with the Concordia Fire Department was dispatched to the 300 block of East 12th St. for a report of a house fire.
At 6:41 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of West 8th St. for a report of a 911 hang-up. Upon investigation, a male resident came to the door. Officers knew the male, Travis Radden, had an active Cloud County Warrant. Radden was arrested and transported to Cloud County Corrections for processing on his Cloud County Warrant, original charge: stalking. It was also determined that the 911 hang-up was accidental.
At 9:17 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of West 10th St. for a non-injury accident.
Sunday, February 1
At 12:28 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of West 6th St. for a fight in progress. Both parties were separated; both parties did not want to press charges.
At 12:50 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of East 18th St. for a report of a verbal argument. Prior to officers’ arrival, both parties were separated.
At 8:38 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of West 5th St. for a report of criminal damage to property. Upon investigation, the reporting party did not want to press charges.
At 9:32 PM, Officers made contact with an individual in the 1500 block of Lincoln St. The individual, identified as Wesley Peters, was known by Officers to have an active warrant out of Republic County. Peters was arrested and transported to Republic County for processing on his Republic County Warrant, original charge: violation of a court order.
Officers received a theft report from the 100 block of East College Dr. Investigation continues.
