KDOT Announces Approved August Bids

The Kansas Department of Transportation has announced approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects.  The letting took place August 17th in Topeka.

In North Central Kansas, Hall Brothers, Inc. of Marysville received the bid for a milling and overlay project on K-199 from the north Courtland city limits north to the K-199/US Highway 36 junction in Republic County.  Total cost of the project is $254,441.50.

In Jewell County, Hall Brothers, Inc. of Marysville also received the bid for a milling and overlay project on 8.9-miles of US Highway 36 from the east Mankato city limits to 4.6 miles east of the east K‑14/US Highway 36 junction.  Total cost of the project is $2,950,095.05.
