KDOT Announces Approved Bids for State Highway Construction and Maintenance Projects

The Kansas Department of Transportation has announced approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects.  The letting took place January 18th in Topeka.  Some of the bids may include multiple projects that have been bundled based on proximity and type of work.

In Washington County, Pavement Pro's LLC of McPherson, Kansas received the bid for 27.3 miles of crack repair to US Highway 36 from the west US Highway 36/K-22 junction east to the Little Blue River bridge excluding the City of Washington; K-22, from the US Highway 36/K-22 junction north to the south city limits of Haddam; and K-148, from the K-9/K-148 junction north to the US Highway 36/K-148 junction.  Total cost of the project is $271,759.88.

Pavement Pro's LLC also received the bid for 35.5 miles of crack repair to K-15, from the north city limits of Clay Center north to the Clay/Washington County line at the K-9/K-15 junction and K-80, from the east city limits of Morganville east to the K-15/K-80 junction; K-9, from the Clay/Washington County line north to the west K-9/K-15/K-148 junction; K-115, from the east city limits of Palmer east to the K-9/K-15/K-115 junction; and K-15, from the west K-9/K-15/K-148 junction north to the east US Highway 36/K-15 junction.  Total cost of the project is $261,242.35.
