National 4-H Week runs October 2nd through October 8th.  This annual event is designed to highlight the remarkable 4-H youth in our local communities.  Hynek says the week gives them the opportunity to showcase the positive impact 4-H makes in a youth's life as well as in our local communities.  Throughout the week you may see youth giving back to their local community in events such as 4-H Sunday, Spirit Day, and 48 Hours of 4-H.

4-H is a research-based experience where youth can find their passion in one of the River Valley District's 47 project areas.  It's the largest youth development organization in America.  4-H gives youth the skills that will benefit them throughout their life such as self-confidence, independence, resilience, and compassion.
