Join Reading With Friends at Neighbor to Neighbor in downtown Concordia on Friday, November 10th at 10 am.  This special time together is a monthly offering to preschool age children and their parents or caregivers.  Each family will receive a free copy of the featured book with a limited number of copies available.   The featured book for November will be “There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Turkey” by Lucille Colandro.  Sister Darlene Taylor, LDS Missionary, will present this fun fall selection to the preschoolers.

It’s Thanksgiving and this time the Old Lady is swallowing a turkey, a ball, a hat, a balloon, a boat, some wheels, and a horn of plenty.  With hilarious illustrations and a lively rhyme, this is sure to become a seasonal favorite.

Pre-registration is required to attend and receive a copy of the book.  To register, call Neighbor to Neighbor at (785) 262-4215 or email neighbortoneighbor@csjkansas.org.

Neighbor to Neighbor is located at 103 East 6th Street.
