Osborne Native, Cloud County Grad Promoted to Lieutenant with Kansas Highway Patrol

Robyn Arnold, a graduate of Osborne High School and Cloud County Community College, has been promoted to Lieutenant, Kansas Highway Patrol Superintendent, Colonel Erik Smith announced this month.

Arnold will serve as the Professional Standards Unit Compliance and Audit Lieutenant.

Arnold joined the Kansas Highway Patrol in 1999 as a member of Class #34.  Her first duty station was Saline County in Troop C.  In 2005, Arnold transferred to Troop J, the Kansas Highway Patrol Training Academy, where she became a Technical Trooper.  She held various instructor roles for the Academy.  In 2019 she transferred to Public & Governmental Affairs where she helped establish and maintain the Kansas Highway Patrol Training Academy and Communications Accreditation Program's for the patrol's Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies.

Arnold graduated from Cloud County Community College with an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice.  In her free time, she enjoys gravel biking, quilting, reading, and spending quality time with her family.
