Rachel Fleming has been crowned champion of the Concordia Elementary School 4th Grade Spelling Bee.

Musician, a person who plays a musical instrument, especially as a profession, or is musically talented, was the winning word that bolstered Fleming to victory in the event hosted at Concordia Elementary School on Thursday, April 25th.

Kahlan Metcalfe finished in second place while Sarah Morgan finished third overall.

The top 20 spelling bee finalists all competed on Thursday.  The spelling bee was judged by USD 333 Concordia Superintendent Quentin Breese and KNCK's Toby Nosker.
