Reckless Driving Report in Washington County Leads to Arrest for Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Weapon by a Felon
A traffic stop in Washington County last week led to the arrest of a Marshall County man on multiple charges, including aggravated assault and possession of a weapon by a felon.
According to a news release from the Washington County Sheriff's Office, officers were dispatched to K-148 and Eagle Roads on Thursday, January 13th for a report of a reckless driver.
Following an investigation, Darren Schell of Oketo, Kansas, was arrested on pending charges of Aggravated Assault, Reckless Driving, Disorderly Conduct, Interference with a Law Enforcement Officer, Criminal Possession of a Weapon by a Felon, Possession of Stimulants & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Schell is currently being held at the Washington County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
