Two Concordia Residents Treated for Minor Injuries Following Accident in Ottawa County

Two Concordia residents were treated for suspected minor injuries following a two-vehicle accident on US Highway 81 in Ottawa County on Friday, November 10th.

According to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica driven by 30-year-old Tiffany Detterline of Concordia was traveling southbound on US Highway 81 north of Limestone Road in Ottawa County around 10:20 am Friday.

A 2000 Chevrolet Express driven by 28-year-old Thomas Campbell of Concordia also was traveling southbound on US Highway 81.

Campbell's vehicle rear-ended Detterline's vehicle.

Campbell's vehicle was disabled in the center of the driving lane.  Detterline's vehicle traveled several feet before coming to a stop on the right shoulder of the roadway.

Detterline was treated at Salina Regional Health Center for a complaint of pain.  A passenger in her vehicle, 64-year-old Lou Dudley of Concordia, was also treated at Salina Regional Health Center for suspected minor injuries.  Both were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.

Campbell, who was also wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, suffered no apparent injury.
