Two Minneapolis Residents Involved in Two-Vehicle Accident North of Salina
Two Minneapolis residents were involved in a two-vehicle accident north of Interstate-70 in Saline County on Tuesday, March 15th.
According to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2005 Ford Freestar driven by Victoria Dick, 29 of Osborne, Kansas, was traveling northbound in the driving lane on US Highway 81. A 2005 GMC Sierra 3500 driven by Clyde Edwin Thrush II, 45 of Minneapolis, was traveling northbound in the passing lane of US Highway 81.
Dick slowed down to make a U-Turn and collided with Thrush's vehicle.
The accident occurred two miles north of Interstate-70 at 8:17 pm Tuesday.
Dick and a passenger in her vehicle, 32-year-old Michael Christopher McLaughlin of Osborne, were taken to Salina Regional Health Center for suspected minor injuries. Both were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
Thrush and a passenger, 52-year-old Keith Coleman of Minneapolis, both suffered no apparent injuries. They also were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
