"Who Gets Grandma's Yellow Pie Plate?": Program to Help Families Address Common Decision Making Obstacles when Passing on Personal Possessions
River Valley Extension District Adult Development & Aging Agent Jordan Schuette will present "Who Gets Grandma’s Yellow Pie Plate?" on Thursday, April 4th at 1:45 pm at the Belleville Public Library.
"Who Gets Grandma's Yellow Pie Plate?" provides research-informed practical strategies to protect your family relationships when passing on personal possessions.
Few families escape making decisions about passing on personal possessions. While it may seem simple, Schuette says decisions about personal property can be challenging and lead to serious family conflicts.
No matter who you are— older parent, spouse, adult child, educator, legal professional or social services practitioner — "Who Gets Grandma’s Yellow Pie Plate?" offers a range of free and for sale research-informed resources to help address common inheritance decision making challenges.
Schuette says the program is free to attend.
