Brian Neal Valcoure

Brian Neal Valcoure, age 49, formerly of Concordia, entered into rest on April 8, 2023 in Wichita, Kansas.  He was born on May 13, 1973 in Wichita, Kansas.  His parents are William and Judy (Sallman) Valcoure.

He was a 1991 graduate of Concordia High School, Concordia, Kansas.

He married Stacy Anderson in 1997. To this union four children were born; Brittany, Shayla, Kagen, and Austin. They later divorced. Brian went on to have two more children; Neveah, and Dakota.

Brian worked as a laborer in the construction field for various companies and for local farmers in the Concordia community.  

He enjoyed Chiefs Football, motorsports, fishing, listening to music, and being outdoors. Most of all he loved spending time with his beloved family and friends.

Brian is survived by his six children, Brittany (Andrew) Hall of IA, Shayla (Tevin) Petrie of TX, Kagen Benton and Austin Benton of KS, Nevaeh Valcoure, and Dakota Valcoure of KS; five grandchildren, Paxten, Paisley, Paelynn, and Parker Hall, and Everleigh Petrie; father, William “Bill” (Lisa) Valcoure of KS; brother, Charles (Anna) Valcoure of KS; step-sisters, Michelle (Bryan) Bombardier of KS, Maria (Troy) Morris of NC, Amber (Joey) Doyle of KS, and Stephanie (Derrick)Downie, of KS and grandmother, Edith (Sallman) Linden of KS

He was preceded by his mother, Judy Valcoure; maternal grandfather, Clifford Sallman; paternal grandparents, Neal and Beatrice Valcoure.

The family has selected cremation and a Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 1-3 p.m. at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia, Kansas.

A private family Inurnment will take place at a later time, in the St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery, Aurora, Kansas
