Charles “Chuck” Robbins

Charles “Chuck” Robbins, age 78, lifetime Concordia resident, entered into rest on Sunday, May 23, 2022 at his residence, Concordia, Kansas. He was born on March 1, 1944 in Scandia, Kansas to Robert and Carrie (Dear) Robbins.

Chuck attended Scandia High School, Scandia, Kansas. 

Charles married Tressie I. Tatum on December 28, 1970 in Hebron, Nebraska. She survives of the home.

Chuck worked for Alstom Power Air Pre-Heater and other adjoining companies in Concordia, Kansas for 37 years.

He enjoyed golfing, camping, traveling, woodworking, giving his dog (Foxy) rides, and most of all spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Tressie Robbins, Concordia, KS; his daughters, Jennifer Robbins, Concordia, KS; Taby Brown, Salina, KS; Kim Mueller, Clifton, KS; Melanie Lindberg (Richard), Courtland, KS;  Sandy Long, OK; his sons, Robert Robbins, CO; Dean Robbins, TX; 2 sisters, Eva Allen and Elaine Florea both of Concordia, KS; 15 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Bobbie Jo Robbins, sister, Barbara Ryals.

Visitation will be held from 12-2 p.m., Friday, May 27, 2022 at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.  Family will receive friends from 12-2p.m.

Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 27, 2022 at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, Kansas with Pastor Dwight Whitead officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, Kansas.
