Glen R. Gutka, age 75, entered into rest on Monday, July 24, 2023 at the Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, Kansas.  He was born on July 7, 1948 to Robert and Mary (Elder) Gutka in Denver, Colorado.  

Glen attended grade school in Hedville, Kansas and then going to high school in Brookville, Kansas, until moving to the Aurora community.  Glen was a 1965 graduate of Miltonvale High  School, Miltonvale, Kansas.

He served in the United States Army in Germany and later he was sent and served in the Vietnam War.  He was honorably discharged.

Glen worked in the construction business for BJ Koetting, LLC for 27 years.  He also farmed with his brother Gary and owned and operated their own custom swathing and bailing operation.

Glen enjoyed fishing, camping, and mostly working on the farm.

He is survived by his brother, Gary Gutka, Aurora, KS; and several cousins.

He was preceded by his parents and a brother, John.

Visitation will be held from 9-10:30 a.m., Monday morning before service time.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 31, 2023 at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, Kansas, with Pastor Dwight Whitead officiating. 

Burial will follow in the Culver Union Cemetery, Culver, Kansas.  Military Honors provided by the Big Red One, Ft.
