Jerrod Milton Rauth, the son of Bob Rauth and Shirlee (Roberts) Rauth, was born December 3, 1972 in Ransom, Kansas and passed away on July 6, 2023 at the University of Kansas Health Systems, Kansas City, Kansas at the age of 50 years, 7 months, and 3 days.

Jerrod grew up and attended school in Scott City, Kansas and later graduated from Decatur Community Junior and Senior High School.   He attended Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, North Dakota.    Jerrod was a licensed minister working as a youth pastor all his life and a member of the Assembly of God Church.    

On June 13, 1998, he was united in marriage to Tina Somerville.   The couple moved to El Dorado, Kansas where he was involved several ministries at Family Worship Center and also worked at Wal-Mart.    They returned to Belleville in 2014, where he served as a youth pastor at the Crossroads Assembly of God Church in Belleville, KS.   Recently, Jerrod was completing his degree at Trinity Bible College.

Jerrod was a member of the Assembly of God Church, serving Churches in both El Dorado and Belleville.    He also was active in 4-H with his family in his early years.    Jerrod liked sports, especially Jayhawk Basketball and NASCAR.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Shirlee Rauth.

Jerrod is survived by his wife, Tina Rauth, of Belleville, Kansas; 3 sons, C.J. Rauth of Concordia, KS, Chris Rauth of Wichita, KS; and Jeremiah (Lexi Pack) Rauth of Belleville, KS;  two brothers,  Wesley (Lynn) Rauth of Myrtle Creek, OR, Faron (Justine) Rauth of Wichita, KS; 3 sisters, Scarlet (Hollis) Higgins of Anchorage, Alaska,  Sabrina (Jim) Nelson also of Anchorage, Alaska, and Krys Minnis of Wichita, KS; many nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 13, 2023 at the Crossroads Assembly of God Church, Belleville, KS with Pastor Rick Snodgrass, officiating.

Friends may gather prior to the services on Thursday afternoon at the Church to sign the register book and greet the family.
