Judy S. (Ford) Condray, age 89, formerly of Concordia, Kansas, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023 at Tallgrass Creek in Overland Park, Kansas. She was born on March 12, 1934 in Alva, Oklahoma to Luther and Ceil (Snyder) Ford.

She grew up on a farm on the edge of Aline, Oklahoma until the 11th grade, with the exception of two years she spent in Chicago, Illinois, attending school and helping her father with his ice delivery route. In Oklahoma she helped her father herd sheep and cattle. In 1952, she and her mother moved to Morganville, KS, where she attended her senior year of high school.

She married Robert Condray in 1952, in Morganville. They lived on a farm in Clay County until 1954, when they moved to a farm north of Clifton, KS.

Judy was a church Sunday school teacher, a 4-H leader, an active member of the Columbian Club and Federated Club of Clifton. She attended Cloud County Community College, studying Tourism. She worked for Thunderbird Travel in Concordia, KS as a travel agent and guide.

She moved to Concordia in 1993, where she worked as a sales person in her daughterin-law's Hallmark Store. She became a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Concordia, where she volunteered as well as being a member of various clubs and civic organizations, including being a proud member of PEO.

Judy liked to spend her winters in Dunedin, Florida, which is where her mother lived from 1958 until her death in 2004. Judy loved to travel. She traveled to all 50 states as well as Canada, South America, Australia, China, Thailand, Egypt, Turkey, Greece, and many, many other locations around the world.

Survivors include her son Scott Condray and wife Melinda of Concordia, KS; son Kent Condray and wife Marian of Clifton KS; daughter Robin Bednarek and husband Charles of Leavenworth, KS; daughter Glee Jacobs and husband Marlin of Topeka KS. Judy had nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

There will be visitation with the family on Saturday, April 8th at 10:00 am, with the Celebration of Life Service beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Concordia.
