Lisa K (Disney) Baxa
Lisa Kaye Baxa, daughter of Norman Disney and Ruth (Cortney) Disney was born December 7, 1963 at Superior, Nebraska and passed away on July 11, 2022 at the Republic County Hospital, Belleville, KS at the age of 58.
Lisa graduated from Superior High School and attended NCK Technical College in Beloit, Kansas. She worked at Mid Nebraska Individual services and Brodstone Memorial Hospital in Superior, Nebraska and for Republic County Hospital, Belleville, Kansas for 27 years.
She was united in marriage to Karl Baxa on August 12, 1995 and to this union 2 children were born, Nickalous and Amanda
She was a member of the Ladies VFW Auxilary, Superior, NE, St. Isidore Catholic Church, Cuba, KS and St. Isidore Altar Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Ruth Disney, one brother, Michael Disney, father in law, Fred Baxa Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Karl Baxa of Cuba, KS, one son, Nickalous Baxa of Cuba, KS, one daughter, Amanda Baxa of Cuba, KS, one brother Rick Disney of Superior, NE, two sisters, Patty (Scott) Henderson of Columbia, MO, Cathy Disney Superior, NE, mother in law, Karen Baxa of Cuba, KS, Aunt, Kathleen Selig of Fairbury, NE, two brothers in law, Lawrence (Rita) Baxa of Ingalls, KS, Leland (Stephanie) Baxa of Osborne, KS, one sister in law, Karla (Derrek) Jeardoe of Clearwater, KS, uncles, Ron (Linda) Disney of Grand Island, NE, Don (Dolly) Disney of Carleton, NE, aunt, Arlene Smith of DeWitt, NE., nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM, Friday, July 15, 2022 at St. Isidore Catholic Church, Cuba, KS, with Reverend Henry Baxa and Deacon Steve Heiman, celebrants.
Interment will be in St. Isidore Catholic Cemetery, Cuba, KS.
Vigil/Rosary service will be held at 6:30 PM, Thursday, July 14, 2022 at
Bachelor-Surber Memorial Chapel, Belleville, KS.
Memorials may be given to the Lisa K. Baxa Memorial Fund.
