Ronald “Ron” G. Gosselin

Ronald “Ron” G. Gosselin, age 62, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, in Concordia, Kansas. He was born on June 22, 1960 in Concordia, Kansas to Almer and Zella (Comeau) Gosselin.

Ron attended Concordia schools during his youth.

Ron was a member of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, and the Knights of Columbus, both of Concordia, Kansas.

Ron worked at the local Walmart for almost 30 years as a store associate, he helped with keeping the Store shelves stocked and unloaded the trucks.

Ron was a avid KU Fan he loved the Jayhawks.  Ron was a true fan of all sporting events in the Concordia community he truly enjoyed attending and supporting the local Panthers and T-Birds activities.  Ron also loved going to the local Fairs and Rodeo’s as a Fan and worker helping keep the grounds clean and tidy.  Ron enjoyed celebrating his birthday every year and having a party he greatly appreciated all his support from the Concordia community.

Ron is survived by his sister, Theresa Hoffhines (Michael), Salina, KS; sister, Betty Hahn (Tom), Oviedo, FL; brother, Gerry Gosselin (Cynthia), Salina, KS; brother, Lawrence Gosselin, Oxford, KS; brother, Don Gosselin, Beloit, KS; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his parents, a sister, Patricia., and a brother, Dale.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 25, 2022 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia, Kansas with Fr. David Metz officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Concordia Catholic Cemetery, Concordia, Kansas.

The visitation will be held from 9 a.m., until service time at 10 a.m., Monday, July 25, 2022 at the church with the family receiving friends.
